WATERLOO — June Moss Jackson was born to Pete and Rose Moss on June 21, 1926, in Waterloo. She departed this life on Dec. 5, 2010, at home in Columbia, Mo.

She was united in marriage to Felix Jackson on March 21, 1973, and he preceded her in death. She was a loving mother of three sons, Larry (Mary) Moss and Lloyd (Fontella) Henry, both of Columbia, and Frederick Moss of Waterloo.

She lived a full and wonderful life which revolved around family, friends and the Order of Eastern Star. She joined the Order of Eastern Star in 1966 and rose through the ranks of the illustrious commander of Zembo Court No. 130. She also was a past Grand Worthy Matron of Queen Esther Chapter 6 PLLR of Assembly No. 28.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons; one sister, Martha (Henry) Sims of Waterloo; one brother, Hollis (Vivian) Moss of St. Peters, Mo.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends who will miss her.

Services for June Jackson will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Antioch Baptist Church, 426 Sumner St., Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation.
