CEDAR FALLS - Margaret Lorene Norcott-Blau, 89, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Thalman Square at the Western Home Communities from complications of Alzheimer's disease.

She was born Oct. 15, 1921, in Morning Sun, daughter of Everett and Violet Siverly Milligan. She married Frank Porter on July 28, 1947, in Denver. He died in 1973. She married DeYea Norcott on March 20, 1976, in Waterloo. He died in 1990. She then married William Blau on Jan. 15, 2000. He died in 2005.

She worked at JC Penney Co. and then at A.Y. McDonald, retiring in 1977. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star.

Survived by: a daughter, Ruth (Brian) Kelleher of Cedar Falls; a stepdaughter, Gail Smith of Cass City, Mich.; a daughter-in-law, Paulette Holmes of Fort Smith, Ark.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Michael (Meredith Stock) Milligan of Peoria, Ill.

Preceded in death by: her parents; a son, Larry Holmes; a brother, Bill Milligan; and a sister, Helen Muenzemeyer.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the church or Alzheimer's Association.
