HENRY MILLER

Services are pending at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home for Henry Miller, 80, of 1240 Garden Ave., who died about 3:15 p. m. yesterday at St. Francis Hospital of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Miller was born Oct. 2, 1883, in Benton county, the son of Hans and Matilda Struve Miller.

Prior to coming to Waterloo in 1937, he farmed most of his life near LaPorte City. In Waterloo, he was employed at the Moose Hall until last fall.

He married Rose Nass in Charles City on Oct. 19, 1934. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in LaPorte City and Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Waterloo.

Survivors include his wife, a stepson, Loren Nass, of Rt. 4; two step-daughters, Mrs. Rollis McClain, of 322 N. Roosevelt Rd., Evansdale; and Mrs. Roland Gardner, of 1236 Garden Ave.; six step-grandchildren; five step-great-granchildren; four brothers, Andrew, of Coin, Iowa; and Frank, John and Pete, all of LaPorte City; and a sister, Mrs. John Risse, of Dunkerton.

He was preceded by his parents and two sisters.
