CEDAR FALLS - Dennis Hallman, 65, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Nov. 21 at home.

He was born Oct. 4, 1945, in Cedar Falls, son of Louie Koshatka and Betty Nelson Hallman. He married Linda A. Fobian on Dec. 16, 1965, in Cedar Falls. She died Oct. 2, 2005. He then married Kathie England Michel on April 12, 2008, in Nashua.

He served in the United States Navy and was employed with Reinholdt Fobian Construction and later Wayne McGee Construction.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Tom (Jennifer) of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Theresa (Robert) Heckenlively of Waterloo and Traci (Nate) Sorensen of Cedar Falls; two stepdaughters, Dawn (Brian) Heath of Cedar Falls, and Wendy (Jeff) Mulanax of Cedar Falls; a stepson, John Michel of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a stepbrother, Thomas Koshatka.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home, with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
