WATERLOO - Frances M. Woodcock, 96, of Waterloo, died Friday, Nov. 19, at Rosewood Estates of natural causes.

She was born April 23, 1914, in Aredale, daughter of John L. and Flora Olthoff Groninga. She married Wayne H. Lee April 23, 1935, in Dixon, Ill. He died in 1967. She married John C. Woodcock Nov. 4, 1979, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Woodcock was a secretary at John Deere and Co. for 22 years, retiring in 1976.

Survived by: her husband; a son, Larry Dean (Jan) Lee of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Eunice M. (Harold) Brustkern of Waterloo; a stepson, Jack C. (Cindy) Woodcock of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; a stepdaughter, Edith (Fred) Meserve of Norwalk, Mass.; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a stepdaughter, Gwen Bower; six brothers, Luke, Pete, Ted, Albert, Jack and Claude Groninga in infancy; and five sisters, Kate Miller, Grace Miller, Christine Baugher, Esther Kimball and Marge Schrage.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with inurnment at a later date. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and for an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
