WATERLOO - Russell Corwin, 74, of Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center, died there Monday, Oct. 18, of natural causes.

He was born on April 24, 1936, in Cedar Falls, son of Floyd and Irene McClure Corwin.

Mr. Corwin had worked in maintenance at Evergreen Bowling Alley and Hillcrest Drive-In Theatre and had worked for Goodwill Industries. Most recently he worked at Fairview Cemetery, retiring in 2009.

Survived by: two brothers, Floyd "Junior" and Lyle (Fannie), both of Waterloo; a sister, Darlene Meyers of Evansdale; and a special friend, Peggy Brallier of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Bonnie Jillette and Fay Chiffers; and two brothers, William and Dale.

No services are planned. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, assisted the family.
