WATERLOO - Mark Allen Marvets, 46, of Oelwein, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Allen Hospital from injuries suffered in a fall.

He was born Feb. 21, 1964, in Iowa City, son of Linda M. Myers. He married Judy A. Cleek on June 8, 1992, in Arkansas.

Mr. Marvets graduated from Kirkwood Community College, Cedar Rapids, and was employed as a carpenter with B&B Construction, Hazleton.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Allen Cody and Devin Cory, both of Oelwein; his mother of Waterloo; three brothers, Kevin (Karol) of New Hampton, Randall (Tammy) of Evansdale and Todd (Rhonda) Myers of Waterloo; and two sisters, Kimberly Marvets of Waterloo and Dawn Stocks (Mike Ender) of Elk Run Heights.

Preceded in death by: a brother, William Myers; and his stepfather, Ray Peil.

Services: 2 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, with burial in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Public visitation after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
