WATERLOO - Louise C. Saathoff, 94, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Denver Sunset Home of complications from a stroke.

She was born Dec. 28, 1915, in Titonka, Kossuth County, daughter of Fred E. and Anna Hinricks Meyer. She married Carl H. Saathoff on Nov. 10, 1935, in Glenvil, Neb. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1989.

Mrs. Saathoff was educated in Clay County Schools.

Survived by: a daughter, Connie (Arlin) Bierman of Cedar Falls; a son, Dale (Betty) of Granbury, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Roberta Saathoff of Plano, Texas; and nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; two sons, Ralph and an infant son; two brothers, Ernest and Claus Meyer; two sisters, Helen Classen and Lorene Sybrandts; and a daughter-in-law, Dixie Saathoff.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation after 9 a.m. Saturday at the cemetery chapel. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
