CEDAR FALLS - John B. Hosier, 52, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Oct. 7, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

He was born April 29, 1958, in Waterloo, son of Max M. and Janice A. Kimsey Hosier.

He attended UNI and received a bachelor of arts degree in communications. He was active the Cedar Falls and Waterloo Community Theaters as an actor and with set construction. He farmed with his family in the rural Cedar Falls area.

Survived by: his parents of Cedar Falls; three brothers, Chuck (Diane) Hosier of Waterloo, Perry Hosier of Cedar Falls, and Andy Hosier of Glen Haven, Colo.; two nieces; two nephews; a grand-nephew; and two grand-nieces.

Private family services: Tuesday, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Richardson Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Memorials: may be directed to St. Timothy's United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls.
