CEDAR FALLS — Grace L. Graf, 67, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Guttenberg, died Sunday, Oct. 3, at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

She was born May 28, 1943, in St. Louis, daughter of Harry and Marie Adams Heart. She married James Graf on June 9, 1990, in Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Graf graduated with a bachelor's degree from Clarke College, earned her master's degree from the University of Northern Iowa and held an advanced degree in school psychology. She was employed as a school psychologist in the Grant Wood Area Education Agency and retired in 2001 as guidance counselor from Waverly schools.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Michael (Kourtne) Powell of Cedar Rapids and Adam Powell of Minneapolis; three stepdaughters, Lori (Dave) Rezek of Des Moines, Anna Graf of Cedar Falls and Elizabeth (Blaine) Freeman of Waterloo; a stepson, Joseph (Jana) Graf of Cedar Falls; 10 grandchildren; her mother, Marie Gramlich; and two sisters, Saundra (James) Bohn of Lake St. Louis, Mo., and Shirley Cruz of Albuquerque, N.M.

Preceded in death by: a granddaughter.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery. Public visitation for an hour before services Wednesday at the church, with family present. Richardson Funeral Home assisted the family.
