EVANSDALE - Dustin Dean Whiteman, 28, of Evansdale, died Thursday, Sept. 30, at Covenant Medical Center; cause of death pending autopsy.

He was born June 22, 1982, son Fay and Linda Owen Whiteman.

He was a roofer and was attending school at Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar.

Survived by: his mother, Linda Thompson of Evansdale; his daughters, Vienna Greenway and Madisyn Whiteman, both of Evansdale; a brother, Jeremy Whiteman of Evansdale; a sister, Alyssa Whiteman of Evansdale; his grandmothers, Charleene Owen of Elk Run Heights and Kathy Whiteman of Evansdale; a stepbrother, Ethan Weber of Evansdale; and stepsisters, Allison and Ashley Shea of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his father, Fay Whiteman; and his grandfathers, Richard Owen and Ralph Whiteman.

Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Reformed Church, Evansdale, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery at a later date. Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories is assisting the family.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

Dustin enjoyed fishing, playing darts, shooting pool and the Dallas Cowboys.
