..LA PORTE CITY — Janet L. "Jan" Ingvall, 59, of Vinton, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 10, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Joseph William and Nita Ellison Blazek. She married Richard "Dick" Ingvall on Aug. 10, 1968, in Cedar Rapids.

She was a letter carrier for the Cedar Rapids Post Office for 15 years.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Amy (Brad) Zirtzman of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Ryan, Megan and Laura Zirtzman of Cedar Rapids; a stepgrandson, Sean Zirtzman of Iowa City; and a sister, Pat (Rob) Merritt of Lisbon.

Preceded in death by: her parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, La Porte City. Public visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and an hour before services Monday at the church. La Porte City Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

She enjoyed watching wrestling and going for boat rides on the river.
