WATERLOO - Jerry Jon Jensen, 72, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

He was born April 1, 1938, in Iowa Falls, son of Melvin C. and Pauline "Bid" Whitman Jensen.

He worked through the EPI Choice Program and retired from North Star Community Services in 2010. Mr. Jensen was a member at First Lutheran Church.

Survived by: a brother, Michael of Waterloo; and a sister, Michaela (Ken) Jackson of Waterloo.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, with burial in Garden of Memories. Public visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to Countryview Care Facility, EPI or North Star Community Services.
