WATERLOO — Willie Maurice "Big Willie" Jones, 53, of Waterloo, died Monday, Sept. 20, at home of a massive heart attack.

He was born Sept. 17, 1957, in Memphis, Tenn., son of Willie Lee and Earlean Fondon Jones.

He graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1976. Mr. Jones was employed by International Paper for 12 years.

Survived by: his parents of Waterloo; three sons, Rayshaun Bunch of Minnesota, Ramono Douglas of Waterloo and Derrion Neuenkirk of Waterloo; two daughters, Carlita Bunch of Waterloo and Jessica Mann-Jones of Minnesota; numerous grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn (Frank) Graves of Lancaster, Calif., and Marilyn Howze (Charles Hamilton) of Elk Grove, Calif.; a brother, Marvin L. Jones of Waterloo; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his grandparents, Rosie Lee Wright and Clarence Fondon, Ella B. Jones and Joe Jones.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Corinthian Baptist Church, Waterloo, with burial in Garden of Memories. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church, and for two hours before services Friday at the church. Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the family at 232 Mohawk St., where they will be receiving friends.

He will always be remembered for his outgoing personality and his friendly smile.
