WATERLOO - Ann M. Grinnell, 94, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Sept. 18, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born Dec. 4, 1915, in Hutchinson, Kan., daughter of John Z. and Mary Bontrager Yoder. She married Glenn "Bob" Grinnell Dec. 30, 1960, in Waterloo. He died Feb. 10, 1980.

She was a missionary in Africa for 12 years, retiring in 1959.

Survived by: two stepdaughters, Marilyn Chapman and Shirley Jones of Texas; a sister, Fanny Miller of Kalona; and several stepgrandchildren.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Mattie Mast and Rhoda Stutzman; five brothers, Simeon, Moses, Dan, Chris and Jonas Yoder; three half brothers, Israel, Reuben, and John Yoder; and a half sister, Rebecca Miller.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Dunkerton. Public visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
