WATERLOO — Randy Lee Stone, 50, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born Sept. 25, 1959, in Waterloo, son of Edwin and Shirley Ann Olson Stone III.

Survived by: his mother, Shirley Duke of Clearwater, Fla.; two brothers, Mark (Kime) and Jason, both of Waterloo; and a sister, Sandy (Bill) McKean of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his father; paternal and maternal grandparents; and a cousin, Rick Quandt.

Private services: will be held, with a private family burial at a later date. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, assisted the family.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

Randy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and reading. He was loved by his family; he was their "Randy."
