CEDAR FALLS - Herman H. Woolhiser, 93, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Sept. 2, at his home.

He was born Jan. 19, 1917, in Jackson Township, son of Joseph Howard and Jessie Freemont Kittybelle Briley Woolhiser. He married Marjorie Wilson Feb. 28, 1937, in Boone County.

Mr. Woolhiser graduated from Boone County School, and attended classes at Iowa State University. He farmed and was employed as an engineer with Allis Chalmers, and later John Deere.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Phil (Mary) of Aiken, S.C., and Dave of Arkansas; a daughter, Kathy (Ken) Bradfield of Cedar Falls; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: three sisters, Agatha Holland, Lois Bergland and Gertrude Kokomiller; and a brother, Clarence.

Private family memorial services: will be held at a later date. He deeded his body to the University of Iowa Deeded Body Program. Richardson Funeral Home assisted the family.
