CEDAR FALLS — Polly E. Waseskuk, 73, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Sartori Memorial Hospital emergency room.

She was born Jan. 4, 1938, in Marshalltown, daughter of F.B. “Barney” and Avis Olson Parks. She married Bob Waseskuk on Jan. 31, 1959, in Iowa City.

Mrs. Waseskuk graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1956 and earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Iowa. She taught elementary school in Marengo prior to raising her family.

Survived by: her husband; four sons, Wade (Edith) of Miami, Blake (Mindy) and Drew, both of Cedar Falls, and Chad (Sara) of West Des Moines; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Anne Wallace of Richland, Wash.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Terry Parks.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
