..WATERLOO — James L. Kehoe, 62, of Waterloo, died Saturday, July 31, at Veterans Hospital, Iowa City, of cancer.

He was born Aug. 11, 1947, in Waterloo, son of John J. and Eunice C. Connell Kehoe. He married Sandy Mason Oct. 5, 1968, in Waterloo, and they were later divorced.

Mr. Kehoe graduated from Columbus High School in 1965. He was employed as a sales representative and sales manager for after market auto parts and products, and later as chief engineer at the Ramada Inn and Sullivan Brothers Convention Center. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea as a sergeant.

Survived by: a daughter, Kelly Marie (John) Espeland of Des Moines; twin sons, Jason James (Emily Hamilton) of Fort Dodge and Justin Jeremy (Dr. Sylvia) of River Falls, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Cole and Jake Espeland, Anya Kehoe Hamilton, Milo Kehoe Hamilton, Leif Kehoe Hamilton, Basil Rain and Simone Kehoe; four brothers, Jerome (Pauline), John (Nancy) and Justin "Dusty" (Rita), all of Waterloo, and Joseph (Cathy) of Cornell, Wis.; and four sisters, Peggy McKinstry and Carmen (Mark) Skyles, both of Waterloo, Monica (Jim) Artes of Decorah and Melanie Jensen of Chandler, Ariz.

Preceded in death by: his parents.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with inurnment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, where full military rites will be conducted by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 5 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil.

Memorials: may be directed to the family.

Jim was an avid fisherman and enjoyed collecting and repairing clocks. He had a great passion for restoring classic cars. Jim loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
