WATERLOO - Richard L. Crowe, 59, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Aug. 8, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born March 4, 1951, in Waterloo, son of Winfred and Marie Turner Crowe.

He was a self-employed boat mechanic.

Survived by: a daughter, Stacy (Shane Utsler) Wirtz of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Austin, Blake and Chloe; three sisters, Doris Bender, Diann (Dick) Fischels and Shirley (Bill) Rogers, all of Waterloo; two brothers, David (Nancy) Crowe of Nora Springs and Gerald (Annette) Crowe of Waterloo; two sisters-in-law, Janice Crowe of Cedar Falls and Mary Ann Crowe of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his parents; and two brothers, H. Dean and Eugene Crowe.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and for an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.
