Obituary.

Life of Mrs. Mary Martin -- Funeral Services Tomorrow.

Mary Magdalene Lester Martin was born in Franklin, Montgomery county, Penn., June 6, 1815, and was married to James Martin in 1833; moved to Wisconsin in 1839, and to Cedar Falls, Iowa, in 1865. To them nine children were born, of whom seven survive her. Mrs. Martin was the only surviving member of a family of seven. She was a faithful and devoted wife and mother, a member of the Evangelical association fifty-seven years. The funeral will take place at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. W. Wetlaufer, on Jefferson street. A funeral sermon will be preached at the Evangelical church at Cedar Falls at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. John Abrams, of Waterloo, and Rev. A. L. Hauser, of Cedar Falls. Interment at Cedar Falls.
