Everett Morris

Services for Everett W. Morris, 64, of 1103 State St., will be 1 p.m. Friday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. William Bowles officiating.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at Nelson-Richardson Funeral Home after noon Wednesday.

Mr. Morris died at 6:22 p.m. Monday at Sartori Hospital of a heart attack.

He was born in Cantril Nov. 2, 1906, son of Glenn W. and Ethel Punurell Morris. He married June W. Morton, Feb. 14, 1926, in Cedar Falls.

He was formerly owner of Foote Greenhouse on Rainbow Dr. and for the past few years had been head of the parking meter department for the City of Cedar Falls. He was a past president and past lieutenant governor of Kiwanis, member of Black hawk Lodge 65, KP's, First Christian Church and had worked with the conservation board for years.

Survivors include his wife and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Morris of 1103 State St.

He was preceded by a brother.
