WATERLOO - Geraldine "Gerry" A. Andries, 84, of Altoona, formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, July 22, at Regency Care Facility in Norwalk.

She was born June 13, 1926, in Britt, daughter of Leonard and Edna Klipping.

She was a homemaker and helped run Andries Well Drilling with her husband, Chuck, in Waterloo for many years.

Survived by: two sons, Rodger (Linda) Handy and John (Patti) Handy; four grandchildren, Lori (Marty) Perry, Brett (Melissa) Handy, Jason (Melanie) Handy and Nathan Handy; six great-grandchildren, Chase Perry, Kelsey Perry, Morgan Handy, Carson Handy, Syanne Handy and Kheera Handy; and four siblings, Mary Church, Pearl Eliason, Marvin Klipping and Joanne Symes.

Preceded in death by: her first husband, Charles; her second husband, Chuck Andries; a great-grandson, Conner Handy; six brothers; and two sisters.

Services: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Waterloo. Public visitation from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to Disable Veteran's or Concerns of Police Survivors.

Gerry enjoyed bowling and tending to her flowers at home.
