EVANSDALE - Lucille Coen, 88, of Evansdale, died Tuesday, July 13, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 28, 1922, in Tuckerman, Ark., daughter of George W. and Minnie Williamson Barker. She married Jewell Caldwell in 1937 in Fisher, Ark. He died in 1974. She married Paul Ivan Coen in 1975 in Waterloo. He died Oct. 24, 2004.

Survived by: a son, James R. (Debra) Caldwell of Evansdale; three stepsons, Lynn A. Coen of Zearing, Rex L. Coen of Waterloo and Larry L. Coen of Charles City; a stepdaughter, Jodee Blackstone of Arizona; two brothers, George Barker of Dresden, Tenn., and Daniel Barker of Fisher, Ark.; 31 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: six brothers, William, Robert, John, Jim, Aaron and Buddy Barker; a sister, Fannie Cook; a stepson, Gene Coen; two daughters, Minnie Bean and Diane Mc Mullen; and two granddaughters.

Services: 1 p.m. Friday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, Waterloo, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. today and for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
