WATERLOO - Thelma S. Berry, 75, of Waterloo, died Saturday, July 10, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born Sept. 21, 1934, in Waterloo, daughter of Herman and Olive Ernest Reiners. She married Ivan Berry on Dec. 24, 1971, in Waterloo. He died June 22, 2008.

Mrs. Berry was employed in the cafeterias at Chamberlain Manufacturing and John Deere. She also was a waitress at Steamboat Gardens.

Survived by: two sons, Keith Zabel of California and Stephen Zabel of Coonsville; a daughter, Carla Weigmann of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Betty Sand; and a stepdaughter, Vickie Haynes.

Memorial services: will be held at a later date. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is assisting the family.
