Howard Andrew Schrag, 84, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Waterloo, died at home Sunday, Dec 3, of Cancer.

He was born April 1, 1911, in Omaha, Nebraska, son of Andrew Howard Schrag and Theresa Agnes Mosher-Schrag. He married Irene Masterpole on June 2, 1934, in Waterloo.

Mr. Schrag attended the University of Iowa and the University of Northern Iowa. He was manager of Colson Corp for 20 years and was a real estate broker and purchasing agent for Tecon Corp in Dallas, Tx. He worked on government contracts all over the world, including Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, and Zaire in Africa.

Survived by his wife, Irene; three sons: Philip Schrag of Plano, Texas, Jon Schrag of Tokyo, Japan, Dr. Dennis Schrag of Iowa City, Iowa; a daughter, Nancy Schrag of Allen, Texas; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Violet Schrag-McCallum and Charlotte Schrag-Cagley, both of Tucson, Arizona.

Memorial Services: 9:30 A.M. Wednesday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Dallas, Texas. Rhoten Funeral Home, Carrollton, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
