WATERLOO - Marian Y. Speer Pritchard, 85, of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 13, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born March 19, 1925, in Buckingham, daughter of Harold and Virlea Mitchell Speer. She married Harold Pritchard on June 29, 1946.

Mrs. Pritchard graduated from Geneseo Consolidated High School in 1942, then worked in the offices of Rath Packing Co. until her marriage. She and her husband farmed near Buckingham for 50 years, and she was a member of Geneseo United Methodist Church.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Kaye (Jerry) Thompson of West Virginia; a son, Kurt (Lynn) of Maryland; six grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Doris (Norman) Mitchell and Elinor Kalinich.

Preceded in death by: a grandson; two sisters, Betty Hiatt and Sara Kalinich; and a brother, Erle Speer.

Services: were 10:30 a.m. today at Geneseo United Methodist Church, with burial at a later date. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
