WATERLOO — Norma J. Cummings, 77, of Waterloo, died Saturday, June 12, at home.

She was born March 15, 1933, in Evansdale, daughter of William A. and Jennie Mahanna Neith. She married Duane Cummings on July 14, 1956, in Evansdale.

Mrs. Cummings was employed as a bookkeeper in Waterloo for many years.

Survived by: her husband; three daughters, Debbie (Gregg) Lehman of Hartford, Tenn., Cindy (Lance) Rindels of rural New Hartford and Becky (Alan) Carrier of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Steven Junkman, Natalie and Andrew Carrier and Robert Lehman; two sisters, Helen Haberstich of Marshalltown and Mary Lou (Don) Wurtz of Elk Run Heights; a brother, Bill Neith Jr. of Waterloo; her mother-in-law, June Cummings of Dunkerton; a sister-in-law, Judy (Don) Frahm of Dunkerton; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: a brother in infancy; her father-in-law, Clayton Cummings; a sister-in-law, Mary Beth Neith; and a brother-in-law, Daniel "Pat" Haberstich.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, Dunkerton. Public visitation for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cedar Valley Hospice and to Julie Frost for the wonderful care shown to our mom.
