Jacqueline L. (Kehe) Lutgen, 74, of Lincolnshire, Ill., passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010, at her home. She was born July 13, 1935, in Waterloo, and had been a Lincolnshire resident for the past 32 years. She was a 1953 graduate of Denver (Iowa) High School and also a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. She was an elementary school teacher in Shell Rock, before becoming a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children, Kim (John) Ermel, Robert M. Lutgen Jr. and Stephanie (Brian) Pesmen, and five grandchildren.

Her husband, Robert M. Lutgen Sr., who also had been very ill, passed away 12 days after her death on May 1, 2010.

Services for both Robert and Jacqueline will begin with visitation at 10 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at noon, on Friday, May 7, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 950 W. Everett Road, Lake Forest, Ill. Entombment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, Ill. Memorial contributions can be made to Advocate Hospice, 205 W. Touhy Ave. No. 225, Park Ridge, IL 60068-9757. Arrangements are by Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Libertyville, (847) 362-3009.
