WATERLOO — Norma B. Heidemann, 97, of Waterloo, died Thursday, April 29, at Parkview Nursing & Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 23, 1912, in Bremer County, daughter of William and Minnie Etta Fails Struckman. She married Elihu V. "Al" Heidemann on Sept. 26, 1936, in Waverly. He died Feb. 29, 1996.

Survived by: a son, Steve of Waterloo; a daughter, Barb (Richard "Chico") Leraaen of Ellsworth, Wis.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a son, Donald; two daughters, Carole Barnhart and Linda Heidemann; five brothers, Bill, Clarence, Zenith, Robert and Louis Struckman; and three sisters, Bertha Pyer, Ethel Booth and Mary Kirchoff.

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 12:30 p.m. until services Monday at the funeral home.
