Private Lynn F. Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Miller, 927 Newton street, died yesterday at Camp Dodge of pneumonia. He was taken to the base hospital last Saturday. Monday his parents and wife were notified and went to Camp Dodge. They were at his bedside when death occurred.

Private Miller went to Camp Dodge Sept. 5. He was attached to a motorcycle dispatch company. When he left Waterloo his wife took charge of his motorcycle garage and conducted the business.

The decedent was born May 5, 1897. He was a student at east high school where he was prominent in athletics. He was married July 18, last, to Miss Grace Willier.

Surviving, besides the parents and widow, are two brothers, Corporal Ray C., in France, and Owen, at home. A sister, Inez, preceded him in death 12 years ago.

The remains of Private Miller are expected to arrive here from Des Moines during the night. Funeral services, which will be private, probably will be at the home tomorrow afternoon. Rev. J. B. Smith will be in charge and burial will be in Fairview.
