WATERLOO —Sandra Ayers-Hendren, 57, of Fremont, Neb., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Monday, April 19.

She was born April 9, 1953, in Waverly, daughter of Lyle and Charity Hendren. She attended Janesville High School and was a homemaker.

Survived by: her partner, Charlie Maupin; a son, Kenneth Barker of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Kelli (Servando) Romero of Fremont; six grandchildren; her father, Lyle (Judy) Hendren of Waterloo; her mother, Charity Gunderson of Waterloo; two brothers, Greg (Linda) Hendren of Cedar Falls and Steve (Bobbye) Hendren; and two sisters, Sue (Rick Herold) Hendren of Cedar Rapids and Sheri Henning of Fremont.

Preceded in death by: a daughter-in-law, Brenda Barker.

Memorial services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Dugan Funeral Chapel, Fremont, with a public gathering an hour prior to the service.
