CEDAR FALLS - Evalyn M. Lee, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, April 17, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 12, 1919, in Nashua, daughter of Cecil and Nellie Watkins Shufelt. She married Melvin Lee on Nov. 16, 1954, in Austin, Minn. He died Nov. 12, 1991.

Mrs. Lee was a graduate of Charles City High School and was a secretary for more than 30 years, most recently for Lark Gable at the President Hotel in Waterloo, retiring in 1968.

Survived by: a daughter, Debra Gibson of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a granddaughter; a brother, Max Shufelt; and three sisters, Geraldine Simmons, Doreen Kellogg and Dorothy Boyle.

Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial fund: will be established at a later date.
