WATERLOO - Helen E. Kohler, 89, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, April 13, at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

She was born Dec. 7, 1920, in Waterloo, daughter of Loyal and Sarah Eckert Lines. She married Robert L. Kohler on Feb. 5, 1947, in Waterloo. He died May 7, 1997.

Mrs. Kohler was employed with Walker Remedy for several years.

Survived by: a son, Tim (Dena Conzemius) of Waterloo; a daughter, Therese (Gary Benser) Hockey of Marion; three grandchildren, Mikki (Michael) Moody, Brian (Alison) Hockey and Rebecca (Jerry) Dickson; and three great-grandchildren, Kyleigh McMurrin-Hockey and Claire and Adrian Dickson.

Preceded in death by: an infant son, Richard.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
