WATERLOO — Stephen Webber, 59, of Waterloo, died Sunday, April 4, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born Jan. 13, 1951, in New Hampton, son of Robert and Mildred Schwickerath Webber. He married Ann Miller on June 2, 1979, in Perry.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in education. He was a teacher with Blessed Sacrament School.

Survived by: his wife, Ann; his mother, Mildred of Independence; a brother, Tim (Deanna) of Iowa City; three sisters, Deb (Lonnie) Phillips of Muscatine, Patty Keegan of Park View and Mary Beth (Brian) Brinkema of Independence; a mother-in-law, Margaret Miller of Perry; two brothers-in-law, Mark (Deb) Miller of Perry and Joel (Linda Dainty) Miller of Carlisle; a sister-in-law, Linda (Tom) Todd of Blaine, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his father, Robert; and a sister, Rebecca; and a father-in-law, Marvin Miller.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South St., where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and 7 p.m. vigil service, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to Blessed Sacrament School or Cedar Valley Hospice.
