CEDAR FALLS - John Stephen Stoko, 70, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, March 30, in his room at the Canfield Hotel, Dubuque, of heart attack.

He was born Feb. 25, 1940, in Cedar Falls, son of Henry C. and Mary Helen Gearhart Stoko.

Mr. Stoko received his bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa and worked as certified public accountant.

Survived by: a son and two daughters, Michael, Angela and Elizabeth; and five grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Susan Hill.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Falls. Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, Dubuque, was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the Dubuque Rescue Mission, 398 Main St., Dubuque 52001.
