WATERLOO - Arnold P. "Arnie" Neisen, 74, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, March 17, at Allen Hospital. He was born June 19, 1935, in Gilbertville, son of John and Olivia Bernardy Neisen. He married Janice Eberhard Aug. 24, 1962, in Asbury.

He was employed with Westinghouse Electrical Supply for 26 years, both in Waterloo and Cedar Rapids, and with Municipal Supply Co., Des Moines. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Kevin (Sara) of Denver; a daughter, Ginger (Daryl) Burns of Walker; eight grandchildren, Matt (Kim) Burns, Kip (Nikki Chambers) DeMarce, Kayla (Bryce) Paulson, Megan (Keith) Connerly, Melinda Burns, Kollin Burns, Madison and Mason; two great-grandchildren, Connor Burns and Leah Paulson; and two brothers, Alvin (Sue) and Joe.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Maxine Niday; and three brothers, Romain, Robert and Jerry.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, where full military rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1623, American Legion Post 138 and the Iowa Army National Guard. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Monday at the church.
