CEDAR FALLS -- Daniel R. Sullivan, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at Windsor Care Center of natural causes.

He was born Jan. 24, 1914, in Elma, son of Raymond and Margaret Biwer Sullivan. He married Wilma Eckerman on Aug. 1, 1945, in Lourdes.

Mr. Sullivan was employed at Winpower Manufacturing, Newton, as a foreman in the shipping and receiving department, retiring in 1978.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, John of Johnston and Dan Jr. of Iowa City; two daughters, Jan Lown of Downers Grove, Ill., and Mary Dostal of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren; and three sisters, Bonnie Gebel of Alta Vista, Jane Sullivan of Waterloo and Gerry Wengert of Granite Falls, Minn.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Leo.

Services: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church cemetery, Lourdes. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and with a 3 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. Scripture service.
