WATERLOO -- Roger Dennis Knudsen, 52, of Waterloo, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999 at Allen Hospital of cancer.

He was born Oct. 8, 1946, in Fremont, Neb., son of Dennis C. and Ada M. Fauss Knudsen. He married Rhonda Ann Guttau on Jan. 3, 1969, in Treynor.

Mr. Knudsen had been employed by the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works as manager of technical services since 1969. He was a graduate of Milford Technological School, Milford, Neb.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Chris of Des Moines and Jeff of Waterloo; a daughter, Debbie Knudsen of Waterloo; a grandson; his mother and stepfather, Ada and Don Brown of Fremont, Neb.; and a sister, Diann Tompkin of De Forest, Wis.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Orchard Hill Reformed Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation also from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and for an hour before services at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to the church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
