CEDAR FALLS -- Mattie J. Jungling, 83, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Oct. 2, at Parkview Garden Care Center, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 12, 1915, in Butler County, daughter of Wubbo and Minnie Ahlers Jans. She married John W. Jungling in 1939 in Waverly.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Henry of Fredonia, Wis., and Jim of Fruitland, Idaho; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Albert Jans of Parkersburg.
Preceded in death by: three brothers.

Graveside services: 2:30 p.m. today at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Richardson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
