WATERLOO -- James M. McIntee, 74, of Richmond, Ill., formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, April 29, 1999, at North Illinois Medical Center, McHenry, Ill., of natural causes.

He was born June 14, 1924, in Waterloo, son of Patrick and Mildred Stewart McIntee. He married Mary Brady on Nov. 20, 1948, in Osman, Wis. She died Feb. 22, 1985.

Mr. McIntee attended John Marshall Law School, Chicago, and was a practicing attorney in McHenry and Richmond from 1954 to the present.

Survived by: two daughters, Mary C. Riley of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Susan M. Schwieger of Cedar Falls; a son, William F. of Richmond; three grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Hansen of Darwin, Minn., and Margaret Marcks of Uncasville, Conn.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Katherine Peros; and two brothers, William and John.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. May 27 at St. Joseph Church, Richmond. Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home, Richmond, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to Muscular Dystrophy Association or American Heart Association.
