WATERLOO -- Carter Jay Mauer Schultes, 6-week-old son of Amy Mauer and Ben Schultes of 1127 Tiffany Place, Apt. 5, died today, May 4, 1999, at home of renal failure.

Services 11 am. Friday at St. Stephen's Catholic Student Center, with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls; visitation 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at the student center, with an 8 p.m. vigil service; visitation also for an hour before services Friday; Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, 233-3393, is in charge of arrangements.
