CEDAR FALLS - Dorothy A. Lageschulte, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, March 10, at Cedar Falls Health Care Center.

She was born May 8, 1918, near Fairbank, daughter of Earl and Anna Rommel. She married Gilbert "Gil" Lageschulte on May 24,1940, in Readlyn. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lageschulte graduated from Readlyn High School in 1937, then attended Iowa State Teachers College (now the University of Northern Iowa) and taught in country schools for several years. She worked as a bookkeeper for Rasmusson Chevrolet, retiring in 1973.

Survived by: a daughter, Carolyn (Richard) Scobbe of New Hartford; two grandsons; and four great-grandsons.

Preceded in death by: a stillborn daughter, Anna Marie; and a brother, Earl Rommel.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, preceded by burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.
