CEDAR FALLS — Andrew S. "Andy" Psaros, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, March 9, at Allen Hospital.

He was born Jan. 8, 1929, in Waterloo, son of Nick and Pearl Triantafilo Psaros. He married Constance D. Athanasiou on Nov. 29, 1959, in Mason City. She died March 14, 2007.

Mr. Psaros graduated from Waterloo West High School. He owned and operated Wishbone restaurant for 43 years.

Survived by: a son, Nicholas of Waterloo; a daughter, Penny Ann of Urbandale; a brother-in-law, Tony Chardoulias of Waterloo; and a sister Evelyn Larson of Sioux City.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Helen Chardoulias; and a brother-in-law, Robert Larson.

Services: 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, Waterloo, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
