CEDAR FALLS - Elizabeth Ann Cross, 77, of Fredericksburg, Va., died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Mrs. Cross was a long-time employee of Sears, where she had worked over 30 years. She was an active volunteer in Al-Anon and AA. She had a special place in her heart for her pets, Tigger and Hawkeye.

Survivors include her sons, Michael John Cross of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Thomas Jay Cross of Fredericksburg; her daughter, Kathy Auringer and her husband, Steven, of Waterloo; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven James.

A service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 8, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.

A memorial service will also be held at a later date in Cedar Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cuidado Casero Home Health and Hospice Care of Virginia, 4815 Carr Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1332 North Halsted St., Suite 201, Chicago, IL 60642-2642.
