WATERLOO - Elizabeth A. “Betty” Bristow, 87, of Waterloo, died at home Sunday, Feb. 21, of natural causes.

She was born March 19, 1922, in Benton County, daughter of Alvin and Eva Mengal Dunkelberger. She married Roy M. Bristow on May 31, 1952. He died July 3, 1990.

Mrs. Bristow was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

Survived by: two sons, Roy A. (Deb) of Waterloo and Vern of Hamel, Minn.; three grandchildren, Cole, Cayler and Chelsie Bristow; two brothers, Ralph (Gloria) Dunkelberger of La Porte City and George Dunkelberger of Vinton; and two sisters, Alvina Koepke and Ella (Duane) Feller, both of Denver.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Archie Dunkelberger; and a sister, Vera Palmer.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ascension Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Locke Funeral Home.
