WATERLOO - Clarice Joy Slick, 44, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Feb. 20, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids.

She was born Oct. 15, 1965, in Waterloo, daughter of Wilbur and Eloise Rave Slick.

She graduated from Cedar Falls High School, Cedar Falls, then attended Wartburg College, Waverly, for two years. Ms. Slick enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, then was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration, working out of the Eastern Iowa Airport, Cedar Rapids, as well as other airports in the area.

Survived by: three brothers, Steven (Pat) Slick of Waterloo, Gary (Michelle) Slick of Cedar Rapids and Duane Slick of Providence, R.I.; and a sister, Lenora Slick of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and two brothers, Paul Owen and Brian Kent Slick.

Traditional graveside services: 2 p.m. Monday at Morgan Cemetery on the Meskwaki Settlement, rural Tama. A Native American church service will be held this evening at the Myron Wanatee residence on the Meskwaki Settlement in rural Tama. Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home, Tama-Toledo, is handling arrangements.
