WATERLOO — Connie Stone Anderson, 69, of Urbandale, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Mercy Hospice, Johnston, after a long illness.

She was born Oct. 11, 1940, in Waterloo, daughter of Dorothy Marie and Loren Brewster Stone. She was married to John “Jack” Mihall, and they later divorced. She married Harold Brokaw, and they later divorced. She then was married to Ray Anderson for more than 30 years.

Mrs. Anderson graduated from East High School in 1958.

Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Debbi Mihall of Gainesville, Fla.; two sons, John Mihall of Mathis, Texas, and Kevin Brokaw of Des Moines; three stepchildren; three grandchildren; a sister, Cheryl (Asa Bushnell) Cross-Bushnell of Tucson, Ariz.; and three brothers, Rodney Stone of Mabank, Texas, Bruce (Sherry) Stone of Waterloo and Dean (Diane) Stone of Oelwein.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister, Vicki Stone.

Services: took place Saturday, with burial in Resthaven Cemetery, both in West Des Moines. McLaren’s Resthaven Chapel & Mortuary, West Des Moines, was in charge of arrangements
