CEDAR FALLS - Carl Ziegenfuss, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Jan. 30, at Western Home Communities Martin Center of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Marlow, Okla., son of Hugo and Roxie Wright Ziegenfuss. He married Lorraine Dille on July 20, 1946, in Las Vegas.

Mr. Ziegenfuss served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was employed by John G. Miller Construction, now Cardinal Construction, for many years, retiring in 1983.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Rick (Dana) of Hollister, Mo., and Dave of Sand Springs, Okla.; a daughter, Rita (Gene) Kerven of Lynden, Wash.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard (Joyce) of Saugus, Calif.

Preceded in death by: 12 brothers and sisters.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
