WATERLOO - Reginald Steven Simon, 66, of Country View care center, formerly of Hannibal, Mo., died Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Allen Hospital.

He was born Nov. 23, 1943, in Hannibal, son of Reginald S. Sr. and Ella Louise Wilson Simon.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from Dec.12, 1968, to Jan. 26,1970.

Survived by: three sons, Ryan Tico (Angela) Simon of Hopkinsville, Ky., Daniel Wayne (Ronee) Clay of Kansas City, Mo., and Von (Heather) Simon of Germany; longtime friend, Cheyenne I. Wilson of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Beverly Meeks of Springfield, Ill.; a brother, Larry Simon of Rock Island, Ill.; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother, Greg Wilson.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Country View, where full military rites will be conducted by the Iowa Army National Guard, Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Burial will be in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter. Public visitation from noon until services Friday at Country View. Hagarty-Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway is assisting the family.
